6 years on

I have just re-discovered my blog after 6 years!

The timeshare resorts are still working well for us and we own 5 weeks - one in the UK and 4 weeks at 2 different resorts in Gran Canaria. RCI points total 469,000.

During the last 6 years, we have been to Key West and much of the Florida coastline. We then decided to try another state and to Myrtle Beach an Hilton Head Island in South Carolina  That was an amazing holiday with alligators roaming the estate at Hilton Head.

In 2013, we did a cruise through the Panama Canal (paid for by Points!) and finished in San Diego.  Looking for reasonably priced accommodation, I realised that it was more cost effective to book a week in San Diego and use it for just 2 nights.  Equivalent cost of the points was less than £100. it was a very large studio right in the heart of the City. Shame we weren't there for a whole week.

Last year, we had 2 weeks in Rutland during a heatwave which was fantastic.

Our latest adventure has been a round trip tour from Los Angeles to Las Vegas and then on to Flagstaff, Arizona followed by Washington, Utah.We drove 2624 miles over three and a half weeks and we saw some amazing sights including the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon both North and South Rim.  We booked 3 weeks of timeshare for the trip and had a total of 4 nights in hotels.  It was one of the best holidays we have ever had and we were totally exhausted at the end of it.

I am now planning the next great adventure! I wonder where that will be......?
